From Library Staff

A fun ride through small-town Illinois as six boys try to overcome an ancient evil with no help from the grown-ups. Simmons writes another winner, for Stephen King fans. Only available in e-book format at this time and followed by the sequel "A Winter Haunting."

It was okay. I didn't think it was scary at all but the author was very good at describing the atmosphere in the 60's

Very enjoyable book, classic horror premise and well developed characters. Looking forward to the sequel.

A good read. Reminded me of early S. King (It, Stand By Me, etc.), or even Bradbury's "Something Wicked This Way Comes."
