Princess Sadie doesn’t really want anything other than to get out of her tower, but none of the princes who have shown up are in the least bit helpful. Luckily there is Princess Amira, who’s not that interested in princessing, and has decided to become an adventurer instead. She has a trusty unic... Read More »

Short and sweet. A heartwarming tale. The story is easily digestible and not complex at all.

I've read this book about 100 times and it still gets to me I love the LGBTQ+ in it, and I love her kick butt hair.

I love the LGBTQIA positive message and the illustrations. The repeated use of the word, "fat" as an insult really soured me on the story though.

This was really cute, and I am jealous of Amira's kick butt hair. This really does make you feel good and think "Awwww, that is cute" quite often. It is a very simple story, and quite accessible to young children. The LGBTQ is being represented in fairytales and I am here for it!

Can princesses have self-confidence, body positivity, independence, and the ability to determine their own future? Absolutely, according to these two young ladies! This is a very cute graphic novel aimed at younger readers but with a story any age could enjoy. And, while the princesses are certainly forward-looking, that doesn't mean their story is free from obstacles - chance encounters and a cruel older woman make the trail one to climb and overcome.

This is an absolutely adorable graphic novel. It's a bit light on detail, but that makes it perfect for younger readers while still being enjoyable for older readers. Awesome, kick-butt princesses, a unicorn, a dragon, and a young lady who learns to love herself and step with confidence into her adult role - there's nothing not to love about this story, except that there aren't more volumes!

Darling read with my 4yo grand daughter. She read this with me several times, taking in enough to have favorite chapters and to understand the plot. As an older sister, she seemed thoughtful and pensive to absorb that the book's older sister is, well...

A winsome and magical fairytale retold with a new twist, it will have you gushing all the way through and perhaps warm your heart to the umteenth degree. All the cuteness aside, its greatest lesson is on learning to love yourself and others you love without hesitation. You never know when your princess might come riding through so that you both can save each other.

Cuteness! Dragons and unicorns! Heroes with great hair! Girls falling in love! A fantasy story with diverse characters! First published online, this is a sweet little hardcover short graphic novel about two brave princesses who work together against evil and jealousy. Totally satisfying.
