This story is one that can help a teenager better understand his or her parent, and a parent to better understand and know about his or her child.

This gives a raw, true look at a life lived. The emotions are true and real.

This is a story of a woman looking back at her life from the age of 50 and of the times in which she lived. It provides a sense of class from the perspective of a person who is poor, marginal and rich. I did not like that her life was defined by her relationships with men and in the end, unlike Hadley's other books, it does not rise above domestic fiction.

This book interested me from beginning to end. You feel you are right there in the room in every scene.
