I loved this movie. Not only was it funny, it also had a great soundtrack, good acting and a solid plot. I liked how the film was not afraid to criticize the welfare system and shine a light on how it does not live up to its potential. Even though the movie was made in the 70's, it is surprisingly relevant even after so many years. The welfare system has only gotten worse, so it was nice to see this snapshot in time and see what was working and what was not working in LBJ's Great Society.
