In present-day New York City, Amanda's desperate mother begs producer Laurie Moran and her Under Suspicion television team to investigate Amanda's disappearance. Soon she and the team are re-creating the night of the disappearance at the Florida resort with Amanda's friends and family in attendance, hoping to shed new light on the mystery. Laurie and Under Suspicion host Alex Buckley quickly realize everyone has a theory about why Amanda vanished into thin air--and a reason to direct Laurie's attention elsewhere.

Another fantastic Mary Higgins Clark mystery! I like this series, this is only the second book of the series that I've read, but I like that because it's based on an investigation of a cold case there is not quite as much chilling you know the villain is stalking the young woman and you're not sure if she'll get away in time creepy-ness. That can be quite engaging and Mary Higgins Clark is great at that but sometimes you need a break from it. Great, read it in one sitting kind of book!

Loved this book! The "Under Suspicion" series is great, I recommend reading them all! This is #3 out of 4 in the series. I read this book in one day and could not put it down.

I read it but.....skimmed lots of it. Was drawn out "formula" writing to me. Disappointed.

It may have been just me but I couldn't get into the book. I gave up after awhile. It failed to hold my interest and instead of being a book I couldn't put down, it was more of a book I just couldn't pick up. JMO

Very disappointing ... Normally a captivating author with smooth and flowing writing. Found myself struggling with this one.

I am a big fan of Mary Higgins Clark. This book kept me reading it, even when I should have been sleeping. Every time I thought I knew who was going to be proven guilty, I was wrong. You will not be disappointed if you chose to read this book. Loved it!!!!

Was an ok read - I feel that most of it was written by Alaster Burke - just didn't have the same writing style as Clark.
