From start to finish Moebius takes you on a breath taking journey into the lives of Stel and Atan. Brace yourself for an experience like none other if this is your first encounter with the legendary Jean Giraud. Every panel is laced with an intricate detail that continues to amaze after every reading.

comic art perfection, as far as i'm concerned.

If I was going to pick a single selection that embodies the essence of Moebius as an artist, the Edena story would be it, yet surprisingly, this huge epic is not all that well known compared to many of Moebius's other works.
All of Moebius' works have a transcendent quality to them where every image and panel feels to tell a story within story, and this leads to something that is more enlightening than anything the written narrative could possibly offer. This is the unique appeal of Moebius as an artist. He has a natural and organic ability to infuse his imagery with a sense of a larger utopian world. I know that sounds a bit flowery, but true nonetheless.
