At first, I thought I'd like it - but I cannot get past how catty Norah is. She calls Triss a "skank" like, fifteen times in her first appearance. That's something I absolutely can't stand.

I adore this book. It's about Nick and Norah who meet at a concert and spend an action-packed evening seeing bands, getting to know each other, taking care of drunk friends, travelling all over Manhattan, and getting over their exes. Nick is the bass player in a band, and Norah is the daughter of a music producer. The book captures what it's like to bond with someone because you love the same music. It also captures the uncertainty of new relationships, where you're never quite sure if you're on the same page. Written by two different authors, the book has two distinct narrators with a lot in common.

A funny book, even if it's got a bit too much coarse language. Altogether an enjoyable read!

Tries far too hard too hard to be the coolest book you've ever read. I gave up caring about half way through.

Altogether a pretty fun read. I picked it up because I was a big fan of David Levithan's work when I was in the target age group and this did not disappoint!

This book was a really fast read. Cute story about two teenagers who meet by chance, and turn out to be just what each other is looking for.

Nick and Norah's night is a fun romp, an exploration of the emotional heights teens are forever subject to, and an outright love letter to the music scene, playlists, and the mix CD. The novel alternates between Nick and Norah's perspectives with Levithan writing the former and Cohn the latter. Although dual authorship can be tricky, the novel balances it well and both Nick and Norah's voices are distinct and interesting. The madness that comes from spending an all-nighter together is wonderfully rendered and I definitely enjoyed trailing after the pair as they figured out what they were doing with their lives and each other.

I look him back square in the eye. I take a deep breath, solemn, and just let it out. 'I'm pregnant. I don't know if it's yours or E.T.'s'
