I'm not a Marvels fan by any means, but I heard so much about this one and had the opportunity to watch it. I absolutely loved it. I loved the story line and actors all of it.

I enjoyed watching Black Panther for it is not often you have a film with a largely black cast these days. However, the script is straight out of fantasy land. If there was a country with the technological advances of Wakanda they would be guilty of crimes against humanity in Africa for plain negligence alone. The wars in Africa have claimed more lives than the lives lost in WWII. If there was indeed a country like Wakanda they would be responsible for uniting the whole continent under a single government like the U.S. and especially expelling outside influences that would enslave the people and exploit the natural resources. As nice as a movie it is, it's a pipe dream

Black Panther give you a super hero movie, a sci-fi flick, an action packed blockbuster, and a fight-to-inherit-the-throne epic, all rolled up into one. And, it does an excellent job at all those things. Then you notice that it does those things with an all-Black cast (with a couple of White sidekicks) for the first time ever in a blockbuster. Gives me shivers!

As an added bonus, it takes place in Africa, giving us a vision of what it would look like without a history of colonization and corruption. More shivers.

First rented it from Redbox and watched 3 times in 24 hours. The storyline, the acting, and the cinematography are AWESOME!!! I just rented it to watch again!

If you are looking for a modern, action packed movie than this movie is the one for you.
Caution. If you haven't seen many other great Marvel movies than this movie might be confusing. Marvel Studio's Black Panther has a few flash backs from other movies, so you might get confused along the way. There is a few scenes with blood, and a bit of language including "s**t", and "hell". Marvel Studio's Black Panther does show signs of teamwork and positivity. I would say this movie is for ages 12+.

I really did enjoy this movie. Everyone kept telling me that this movie is so overrated and not that good but i felt as it it was amazing. I loved the the all colored cast and it was really an amazing change from the usual. And the acting was spectacular by all of the actors. Chadwick Boseman is so talented and I have loved him ever since his first movie "42" came out (a side note, that movie is amazing as well). In my opinion this superhero movie is usually better than the other ones i have watched. The animation was amazing as well and there were so many great messages throughout this movie. For example you must always care about your family and friends as well as other people that may be in need. I totally recommend this movie and give it a 5 out of 5 stars.

The 2018 film Black Panther follows T'Challa, as he returns to the advanced nation of Wakanda. There he must fulfill his birthright by becoming King and the Black Panther. Chadwick Boseman's portrayal of T'Challa/Black Panther was spot on, though I did prefer Shui (T'Challa's little sister) played by Letitia Wright. Kilmonger (played by Michael B. Jordan) is probably one of the best Marvel villains out there, with a great backstory and character development. My only complaint with this film was that I wasn't a big fan of all the CGI and jump cuts. Personally, the CJI just felt very sloppy, especially during the fight scene between Black Panther and Kilmonger. I would see myself watching this again, and would recommend to a friend. 4 Stars @Ruby_Tuesday of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

One of my favorite movies of the year! Possibly the best Marvel movie! Do yourself a favor and go see it!

What did I love most about this movie? I love that I DID love it! Forget how "important" or how "necessary" it is (but you know, don't FORGET forget those things), and simply let it be a great superhero movie.

Disappointing. I expected much more from this film, as it was being touted as one of the best superhero movies of all time. It's not. Don't get me wrong, it's a good film and Chadwick is going to win Oscars; he's that fantastic of an actor. But some of the secondary characters were terrible, the villain is a little all over the map, the secondary villain just becomes an inept clown. He eludes Wakanda for 30 years and he's that pathetic? The final fight was rather poorly done. It looked like a scene from the Tron sequel, and not in a good way. Some of the CGI looked amazing, and some looked rather poor for a MCU film.
