The story is funny, and the characters are the best. Also, I love the author. — Justin —
It was both a graphic novel and a novel. And it was humorous. — Sean

Greg and Rowley's friendship had broke due to Greg terrorizing the kindergarteners by chasing them with worms, and Mrs. Irvine had accused Greg of terrorizing the kindergarteners and thought Greg is Rowley, so Rowley and Collin decided to hang out. In the end, Rowley ate the moldy cheese and Greg said he ate it. So, Rowley and Greg's friendship had been restored thanks to Greg stepping up for it.
Blah Blah Blah Greg Blah Blah Blah Middle School Blah Blah Blah.............
In Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Greg goes to middle school. He does not like it because he is one of the youngest in the school because he is in 5th grade. His best friend Rowley and Greg get in to a fight. Rowley does not hang out with Greg anymore and he found a new best friend, but then some teenages force Rowley to eat some disgusting, moldy cheese off the pavement in the playground that was there for a long time under the basketball hoop nobody will even go near it, so Greg stepped in, in front of everyone and said he ate the cheese. Rowley and greg became friends again.

This book is a hilarious, realistic account of middle school written from a preteen boy's point of view. While about half the characters are kinda rude, they're all hilarious. Diary of a Wimpy Kid will have you begging for more!
I don't know what to say. This book is straight on epic. It really does get you into middle school, the good parts and the bad. Thank god Jeff Kinney made more of these books, or else I don't think I woulda been able to get to Grade 7. I keep on reading these books and I keep on crackin' up.
it was hilarious when Rowley ate the cheese...^-^
An excellent choice for reluctant readers. Silly, witty, and lots of white space.
These books are consistently fairly funny, but they're honestly the most mean-spirited and unhappy things I've ever read. They're absolutely brutal. I think a lot of kids will come away from them a little more aggrieved at their peers and a little more willing to punch down.
commet here - i think i missed spelled the incorretctley, but does it make a dif?
