This book is a good read if you are looking for something quick and easy. The short chapters make you feel like you are zooming through book.

I agree, this book was missing emotion - even the "love" she had towards this guy didn't feel like love. Rehab is where all the ups and downs happen, getting back to regular life even has its highs and lows and this book lacked that. It was interesting enough that I finished the book - mostly to see what happened with the guy and not so much as what was happening with her because she didn't do much she let people lead her around and went to school - that's it.

"After one too many intoxicated escapades, attitudinal party girl "Mad Dog Maddie" Graham lands in one of several rehab facilities located on aptly named Recovery Road. Maddie hates pretty much everyone at Spring Meadows and lives for Tuesday-night movie outings with her one friend, Trish. Then, one movie night, Maddie meets Stewart, a fellow recovering addict. Their connection is instantaneous and intense, and they fall for each other, hard. Poignant, honest, and thought-provoking, Recovery Road will enthrall readers who love the richly developed characters and gritty stories in Ellen Hopkins' books." Loved this book, it tells the story of Maddie, a teenage girl with major anger and drinking issues, who falls in love while in rehab. Manages to avoid being preachy or overly simplistic about the difficulties Maddie faces when she returns home and faces old temptations.

Really good teen book. The only thing is it lacked a little emotion. the chapters aren't more than two pages so it's a quick read.

I enjoyed this book. The author gave the readers an addict's point-of-view of love and relationships as well as a perspective on homes (places people "belong") Recovery Road is a compelling book of love and freedom and recovery.
