The title may be the best part of the book. This story of a couple of whiny children who are kidnapped by a crowd of even whinier, indecisive monsters, drags a bit. It seems to be written more for parents in a frustrated mood than for the intended audience of children 4-8.

Very Lemony Snicket. Amusing but maybe not for children... unless they're being really bad :)
