"Why Do We Fight" discusses extremely important things in our society. It explains the reasons behind conflict, the process and how to solve it. Research was obviously conducted and relevant stories, examples and statistics were included. The analogies were relatable; instead of making it too formal sounding like a report, the author used, for lack of a better word, childish comparisons to prove her point. I think this was effective because they were more interesting and understandable. Personally, I liked reading about how some countries settles conflicts. I also particularly enjoyed reading the famous quotations the author added to each paragraph. Finally, There were timelines and different ways to format the information so it wasn't too boring to look at. Overall, I think this book is an excellent way to teach readers about global issues and conflicts (big or small) around the world. A must read for everyone.
