This is a quick, interesting read about the history of LGBT movement and Stonewall riots. While the book gives an intense account of the raid that led to the riots, it still seems incomplete. The author focuses on a reporter and police officer during the original riot, and doesn’t draw as complete a picture of the protesters. The best parts of the book are about the aftermath of the riots and protests, and all the ground covered by the LGBT movement since then.
