I finished this book within 24 hours. It was pretty fast-paced, kept my attention, and left me eager for even more scenes with Derek and Chloe. They clash every once in a while but in a way that I feel they'll end up together, most definitely. Stuck in the Edison Groups demented version of a 'safe haven', Chloe begins to learn some of the deep and dark secrets not only surrounding her and the friends she's made, but also about Lyle House's true purpose. Her life is in danger and she needs out as soon as possible so she can find the boys before Davidoff does. She can't trust anyone, save the disbelieving ghost of her old roommate, so she smiles at Rae, cozies up to Aunt Lauren, and ignores the trapped demon that speaks to her as she comes up with a plan. It's now or never. Life or death (and possibly, resurrection). And the only way to survive is to take everything step, by terrifying step.
