While this book was a page-turner and I read it in just two days, I really couldn't stand it. First of all, the cover. While I know you aren't supposed to judge a book by this, I hated it. The photo on the cover is clearly photoshopped— all the body parts are from different pictures and the the shadows don't even match! I couldn't stand looking at the cover so I turned the book over, but there's another photograph on the back that's just as bad! I didn't like the inside of the book either. The "razor-sharp dialogue," as the front flap plot summary said, felt forced. There were mistakes in the details. The side characters felt flat and cliched. The smart people, as always, were grotesquely exaggerated and obnoxious.
