Consumer Reports is probably THE most well known and frequently used magazine that evaluates consumer goods, services, health, and personal finance. It is published by Consumers Union, a nonprofit, independent consumer organization, established in 1936 to test products, inform the public, and protect consumers. Each issue contains feature articles evaluating all sorts of products and services such as kitchen equipment, exercise equipment, baby products, cars, theme parks, cruise lines, and electronics. Each article explains the importance of the features being evaluated, the criteria used to evaluate the products/services, how the tests were carried out, the results of the tests, and finally Consumer Reports' recommendations. Each issue also has a column on product updates and product recalls
